MODEM ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT (MAMA)

Modem Account Management Agreement (MAMA) is a service The Protection Bureau provides customers with our access control systems. MAMA includes the initial programming and later maintenance of employees' card access through controlled doors on regular and holiday schedules appropriate to the individual cardholders’ job responsibilities.

By selecting MAMA service, our clients:

• Reduce their capital investment by not having to purchase a head end computer, printer, and software license.
• Reduce their labor costs by not having to hire and train a System Administrator to operate the system.
• Eliminate the costs and difficulty of training and assigning backup personnel to operate the system when the System Administrator is absent or unavailable.
• Enjoy a single point of contact for all alarm system issues.

MAMA service includes making changes to the system database as directed by the customer. Requests for changes are accepted only via fax, with an authorized signature, or mail. In most cases, changes faxed in before noon will be made by end of that business day.

The monthly rate includes “sessions” of additions, changes, or deletions to the Database. A session is defined as the time spent making a set of changes to the database and downloading them into the system. Each session can consist of running a report or performing up to 20 badge changes made at one time, such as:

• issuing or deleting badges
• additions, deletions, and changes to the access level, changes to door lock / unlock schedules
• changes to holiday schedules

The monthly charge is based on the size of the system and/or the estimated number of sessions per month that may be needed. For example, a company with a seasonal work force will require more changes than one with a more stable work force.

PLAN I: — 3 sessions per month, suggested for systems with 1-3 field panels
PLAN II: 5 sessions per month, suggested for systems with 4-10 field panels or with tenant databases (i.e. for a property management company who is managing a building for several tenants)
PLAN III: unlimited sessions, suggested for systems with more than 10 micros or a high turnover/change rate, i.e. seasonal employment

There is a charge of $35.00 for each session you request beyond those provided in your plan.

MAMA is available only to companies who have contracted with The Protection Bureau for a Full Service Plan covering maintenance of their access control system.
