The Protection Bureau is one of the few companies in the country authorized by Underwriter's Laboratories (UL) to install UL Certified Fire Alarm Systems. This Listing was attained only after intensive field examination, and is regularly monitored by UL to ensure our systems remain in accordance with their strict standards. This UL Listing means that our fire alarm installations are certified to meet or exceed standards set by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry and BOCA Codes.

Product, Installation, Service, and Monitoring Capabilities
  • Integrated, Addressable, Analog devices
  • Large Systems with point identification as well as small zoned systems
  • Devices checked and monitored individually
  • ADA requirements are met
  • Sprinkler System Supervisory Monitoring
  • NICET certified design and installation supervision
  • Test and inspection of fire alarm systems

Our Security Consultants, Installation and Service Technicians have the same certification for fire alarms as they do for burglar alarms. They also receive refresher and expanded educational courses during our company training sessions.

We set ourselves apart from the average System Integrator or burglar alarm company by our rigorous attention to Code Requirements. Owners face too much risk when a vendor circumvents codes. We can explain as well as follow code.

We are proud to have been selected as Strategic Partners of the highest quality fire alarm manufacturer, General Electric EST (Edwards Signalling).
